Description

Making provision for outdoor learning.

Objectives

This course will offer participants:

♦ A chance to consider the importance of outdoor learning;
♦ An opportunity to reflect upon high quality provision across all Areas of Learning;
♦ A chance to consider ways in which we can stimulate children’s interest and follow their fascination with the natural world;
♦ A wealth of practical suggestions for improving outdoor learning;
♦ The opportunity to consider challenging sites;
♦ An opportunity to examine the role of the adult in outdoor learning; and
♦ Advice on suitable resources for outdoor learning.
