· Consider planning within the context of the Foundation Phase

· Identify the key aspects of planning for an enabling learning environment

· Review examples of a more flexible approach to planning

· Acquire practical tips to ensure that planning is manageable and realistic

· Consider the cycle of observation, assessment and planning.
