Objectives

• Consider appropriate strategies for monitoring and evaluating Foundation Phase practice
• Develop strategies for giving clear direction and objective messages about quality
• Develop supportive methods of challenging current practice in order to secure improvement
• Reflect upon the current practice within their own school through effective monitoring and evaluation strategies and plan ‘ways forward’
• Consider how the meaningful evidence gathered will support self-evaluation within the process of school improvement
