Objectives

This course will offer participants:
• A clear view of high quality learning and teaching in the Foundation Phase;
• Practical ways in which to engage and challenge all learners;
• Advice on how to make provision for ‘play based’ learning in Year 1 and Year 2;
• A chance to consider an appropriate balance between child initiated and adult led learning; and
• Time to reflect on current provision and to plan ‘ways forward’.
