Employment is one of the most important aspects of adult life. Getting the job that’s right for you makes you feel valued and positive. This course offers you the chance to take an objective look at the recruitment process from start to finish, making the pitfalls obvious and arming you with hints and tips to get you noticed.
 

Objectives

Course participants will have the opportunity to:

• Explore the process of recruitment from start to finish
• Reflect on what is really being asked for in an advertisement
• Consider the essential points of an impressive curriculum vitae
• Make the connection between the person specification and the written application
• Write a personal statement with bite, that answers the job description
• Consider and rehearse responses to a number of interview questions
• Understand the interview process from the other side of the table
