Real Reasons to Write
Writing through role-play

Objectives

This course will offer participants an opportunity to:
• Consider the developmental stages of writing;
• Share ways in which to engage children in writing activities;
• Identify real contexts to promote writing among young children; and
• Consider ways in which to introduce children to authorship.
