We are delighted to welcome back Dr. Rosemary Taylor for this one day leadership course. As a growing area of academic and media interest, ‘Women and Leadership’ is a richly diverse, hotly debated, core issue for both men and women today. This course will provoke and challenge our views, as well as offering us an insight into today’s issues - both perceived and real – within the workplace for women.

Objectives
Course participants will have the opportunity to:
- Consider the key issues for women leaders
- Explore the dynamics of ‘Leading versus Managing’
- Develop strategies for effective communication with both men and women
- Identify possible flashpoints for conflict and how best to manage it
- Reflect on the changing relationships within a team
- Develop strategies for assertive and confident leadership

Rosemary Taylor
Dr Rosemary Taylor, senior partner of Key Issues, qualified as a teacher more than 25 years ago, later becoming one of the youngest Headteachers in the country. She attained a Masters Degree in Educational Management followed by a PhD in Change Management and now works as a consultant to schools, colleges and industry.
