Using the environment to stimulate and support writing, inside and outdoors, is a natural extension of continuous and enhanced provision. Practical guidance is offered through this course for those supporting young children’s language and literacy development. It considers the important features of early language development and provides a clear and accessible framework for development, supported by practical case studies and examples taken from a wide range of primary phase settings.
