Our drop-in facilities are available without booking ahead. However if a large party is attending, we do appreciate advance notice.

Time for Reflection and Professional Development (School INSET)
The Learning Partnership welcomes both groups and individuals who wish to use the learning centre as a base for individual PPA time, school INSET days and as an opportunity to peruse our resources.
We offer bespoke "Away Days" for specific training purposes. Our all-inclusive training days enable you to focus on specific school issues with the option of our facilitation services or bespoke training. Our training room will be set aside for your exclusive use for the duration of the training day.
Our drop-in facilities, whereby you can access our coffee shop and resource centre, offer an opportunity for staff to make use of a professional environment for planning and resourcing and is a great way to meet other practitioners from around Wales, and to be inspired!
In January 2009, Gladstone Primary School from The Vale of Glamorgan was the first school to have an INSET day on the Foundation Phase at The Learning Partnership's Training and Resource Centre. 38 Staff from the school including the Headteacher, teachers and teaching assistants all came for a school INSET day on the Foundation Phase and experiential learning. The school used all our professional training facilities, the conference training room and the professional area. A quality lunch was provided in the professional area and there was even time for the teachers to browse the resource centre downstairs during and after the school INSET. As a result of this Foundation Phase Training other schools in the Vale of Glamorgan have booked this INSET day and another 32 Headteadteachers from the Vale of Glamorgan are having a training day later in January.
