Wendy Thomas

Wendy Thomas has worked in a wide variety of contexts both in the UK and overseas as a teacher, advisory teacher and headteacher. Her most recent headship was of a large international school in the Netherlands. Wendy has extensive knowledge of the whole Primary School phase and has supported headteachers and other senior leaders within schools and also in non-maintained settings in assuring quality experiences for young learners. Wendy was School Improvement Adviser for the Foundation Phase in Cardiff and in this role she led a team of advisory teachers in preparing for the implementation of the Foundation Phase. As a mother of two girls, Wendy strongly believes in high quality provision for young children and is committed to the principles of the Foundation Phase. Back
