Planning for Quality Learning in the Early Years

Are you currently grappling with making your planning work for the Foundation Phase philosophy? If so, then consultant Anne Nelson may have the answers for you in the course entitled 'Planning for Quality Learning in The Early Years' This course is being held on Tuesday 13th October and will explore the approach we should take to ensure that our planning is flexible, effective, relevant and manageable.  Anne's view, when training, is that teachers and practitioners need a clear view of quality practice alongside practical tips that can be taken away and implemented immediately. In this way the biggest gains can be made on practice and quality.

Anne is an early years and primary specialist. She has been an early years teacher, deputy head and headteacher of a primary school. For 21 years she was a local authority adviser for school improvement to primary and special schools. Anne was the Chief Executive of the British Association for Early Childhood Education (Early Education.) She has trained practitioners and addressed conferences in the UK, the USA and Japan.

School INSET Training Days

The Learning Partnership works with schools and school clusters on implementing key indicators as identified in school improvement plans. This term school INSET at The Learning Partnership's Training and Resource has focused on: Quality Provision for the Foundation Phase,  Mark Making and Early Writing, Developing Enquiry Based Learning in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2: Room Planning and The Role of the Adult.
