HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Where did the last decade go?

2010 ALREADY?!

Welcome to a new term and indeed a new year!  The snow has, for some, extended the holiday period, and for others, delayed an exciting start to the term.

This term promises to be a busy one with a variety of new courses and speakers to meet a wide range of school developments.  Many colleagues have contributed to improving our understanding of the burning issues in schools and the kind of imput you are looking for.  Your voices and ideas are reflected in our programme this term.  Thank you!

For the full list of courses and speakers please see the courses page on our website TLP Courses

The Learning Partnership's Conference 'Five Minds for The Future' November 2010 with Prof. Howard Gardner

Howard Gardner and collaborators at Harvard’s Project Zero have embarked on applications of good work insights in primary schools, secondary schools and colleges; investigations of conceptions of trust and trustworthiness in young people; and studies of ethical issues associated with new digital media.

This will be Howard Gardner’s first ever visit to Wales and during our conference he will focus on some of his key ideas, for example, Five Minds for the Future, Changing Minds (Leadership) and Multiple Intelligences. Throughout the day he will be helping to extend our knowledge, improve our skills, deepen our understanding of learning, give insights into better leadership and outline what should be valued in global education.

Places on this conference are expected to fill up very quickly. Please book as early as possible. Individual and group bookings are now being taken. 'Five Minds for The Future'
