Implementing the Foundation Phase in Years 1 and 2:
Classroom Management and Organisation
Objectives
Course participant will have the opportunity to:
· Consider the implications of the Foundation Phase for classroom management and organisation in Years 1 and 2
· Discuss appropriate continuous and enhanced provision in Years 1 and 2
· Explore practical examples of routines that promote autonomy and independence
· Consider strategies for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the learning environment
· Plan a more appropriate learning environment and consider the challenges within their own context
This course will be delivered through the medium of Welsh on Friday 24th April 2009
