Wendy Thomas

Wendy Thomas has worked in a wide variety of contexts both in the UK and overseas as a teacher, advisory teacher and headteacher. Her most recent headship was of a large international school in the Netherlands.

Wendy has extensive knowledge of the whole primary school phase and has supported headteachers and other senior leaders within schools and also in non-maintained settings in assuring quality experiences for young learners. Wendy was School Improvement Adviser for the Foundation Phase in Cardiff and in this role she led a team of advisory teachers in preparing for the implementation of the Foundation Phase. Wendy strongly believes in high quality provision for young children and is committed to the principles of the Foundation Phase.
